I am wrapping up my last semester at Towson University where I am studying Human Resource Management and will graduate with my bachelor’s degree in May 2022. I went to the University of Maryland at College Park out of high school, then transferred to Howard Community College and used my credits to earn an Associate's degree with a GPA of 4.0 before transferring to Towson. I have taken fundamental business courses as well as Microsoft Excel certification classes. My current GPA is 3.76 on a 4.0 scale, and I am working hard to maintain my place on the Dean's List for my last semester.

I have had great experiences in two different internships. My first internship was with a talent acquisition team for an architecture, engineering, and construction firm. I was able to source candidates, screen resumes, schedule and attend interviews, as well as initiate background checks, and create offer letters. In this position, I was using LinkedIn Recruiter and Jobvite as the applicant tracking system. I was also able to create the weekly intern newsletter and be the first point of contact for supervisors and interns for the program events and FAQs. This internship was from the start of Spring 2021 through the end of Fall.

My current internship began in the Summer of 2021 and is going until the end of April 2022. I am also supporting recruiters in this role, but it is more focused on screening applicants for positions and scheduling them with the appropriate hiring manager or team for interviews. I am helping recruit clinical positions (CNA, GNA, LPN, and RNs), as well as dining, maintenance, and administrative roles. I have been exposed to many functions of HR in this role as I work right next to the HR managers and the Director of HR.

At the top left of every page, the home button will navigate you here, and the documents button under it will bring you to the, 'examples of my skills' page.
